Delia K. Amsterdam serves as the Associate Director for University Advisement at »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË’s Manhattan campus, where she leads a dynamic team of advisors and assistant director dedicated to student success. With over a decade of experience in higher education, she provides strategic oversight for advisement operations and supports a diverse caseload of undergraduate students. Delia collaborates closely with the academic departments and Admissions to enhance student support services and retention efforts at the Manhattan campus.

She holds a Master of Science in Counseling with a concentration in College Student Personnel and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Services from the University of Bridgeport. Currently pursuing her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Leadership at Nova Southeastern University, Delia’s research explores the impact of targeted professional development on the effectiveness of academic advisors serving at-risk student populations. In the Fall of 2025 she will start her academic role as an Adjunct Professor for First Year Seminar (CINQ 101).Her work reflects a deep commitment to equity, engagement, and evidence-based advising practice.
